About our Pastor





Larry Eugene Thompson, B.A., M. Ed.; D. Min.
Pastor Thompson is the son of the late Cecil Basil and Addie Lucille Lewis Thompson.
He received his religious training at Bishop College, Dallas, Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy. He also received a Masters of Education degree from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI. Pastor Thompson was conferred an earned Doctor of Ministry degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia. 

His dissertation was “Revitalizing a Dying Church: Preparing a Rural African-American Congregation to Serve in a Diverse Community.” In addition to his formal educational achievements, Dr. Thompson was honored by Ecumenical University in Columbia, South Carolina with an Honorary Doctor of Humanities degree, for his years of dedicated service to the Body of Christ and community.


Pastor  Thompson is a Police Chaplain with the Chesterfield County Police Department in
Chesterfield, Virginia. He was installed as the servant leader of the Beulah church in September, 2005. He has four beautiful daughters, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is a life-long learner dedicated to making disciples who make disciples for our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
